September 1, 2022 (Pleasant Grove, UT) – Open Payment Network (OPN), a technology provider that enables instant payments, today announced that Robert Lewis, OPN Chief Revenue Officer, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the U.S. Faster Payments Council. In this role, Mr. Lewis will be able to help advance the financial industry’s initiatives in faster payments for all stakeholders.
“It’s an honor to work alongside so many financial industry giants,” said Robert Lewis, OPN Chief Revenue Officer. “The US Faster Payments Council was established to help move money faster and more efficiently across our financial ecosystem, and OPN and others around the table have been involved since its inception.”
Rob brings years of sales leadership and strategy to OPN and the financial industry. Prior to OPN, he worked at Qualtrics, advising companies of all sizes, including Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, and Disney. He worked extensively with product, engineering, technical sales, sales operations, and marketing and was involved in every major funding round from the initial investment by Sequoia and Accel Partners, to Insight Partners, and finally to the largest VC-backed enterprise software acquisition in Utah history when Qualtrics sold to SAP in 2019.
“We are delighted to have Rob on board at Open Payment Network,” said Bradley Wilkes, Open Payment Network CEO. “He has already made a significant impact on our company’s trajectory and now will be able to make a significant contribution to the financial industry at large.”
The U.S. Faster Payments Council (FPC) leadership includes the executive director and Board of Directors. The FPC Board of Directors is comprised of voting members that represent the six membership segments within the financial industry.
